Maryla

Maryla LMT, CST, CPT – founder moreFIT llc

Maryla has a diverse background as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, and health coach. Her multi-disciplinary background enables her to work well with a variety of individuals and groups – adults of all fitness levels, seniors, athletes, and those recovering from injury or dealing with chronic conditions. In her sessions, she works to facilitate her clients’ overall well-being by teaching them to re-pattern movement and postural habits, improve body awareness, and to identify and eliminate stressors contributing to chronic tension.

Maryla became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2008 with WITS Program at Middlesex Community College, and studied massage therapy in Newington. She graduated and became Nationally Certified by National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), Licensed in Connecticut as a Massage Therapist in 2010 (License # 006441), and has been on the faculty for CCMT, assisted and taught Sports Massage and Orthopedic Massage Program. Maryla practices various types of bodywork and therapies including Myofacial Release, Sports Massage, Kinesio Tape, Laser Touch, CranioSacral Therapy.

In summer of 2016, Maryla attended the Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil. At first she was working with the gymnasts during their final events, and then was hand selected to go to the Olympic village to work with a broader group of Olympians.

Maryla belongs to and is active member of American Massage Therapy Association, AMTA CT Sports Massage Team, and Community Service Team.

Kari Strout LMT

Kari Strout, LMT, Reiki Master, Certified Medical Massage Therapist was born and raised in Connecticut. She graduated from Arizona School of Massage Therapy in Tempe, Arizona in 2003. 

Kari learned the basics of cranial sacral, trigger point therapy, sports massage, Russian sports massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, acupressure, movement, Swedish, injury massage, Structural integration and deep tissue at ASMT. She has done more in depth training in Reflexology, Reiki, headache massage, Pregnancy massage, sinus massage, Qi Gong, and Medical Massage. 

Kari has been a part of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2003.

Kari customizes your massage to work out your aches, pains and stress.  You will find the treatment to be intuitive, flowing, relaxing, and therapeutic. Kari has a passion for helping others.

 

 

Shawnti Therrien, LMT

Shawnti is a massage therapist that specializes in balance for release to return the body to a natural pain free state. She combines deep work and manipulation with techniques that stimulate fluid movement and flushing to achieve relief and aid in improved flexibility. Shawnti offers services that include craniosacral, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage, and prenatal. Each massage is uniquely created to fit her clients where they are in that moment, be it in recovery from an injury or trauma, as part of a care team before and after surgery, or even to maintain good health and find relaxation.

Klaudia Radziszewski, CPT

Klaudia Radziszewski has joined the Morefit team in August 2012. Her love, passion and fresh view for health and fitness makes her a great asset to the company. Ever since she was little she has played sports year round making her a well rounded team player. As she entered high school she set her goal to become more educated in health and physical condition, and found her love for the sport of volleyball. Klaudia played volleyball year round, traveling up and down the east coast and had a chance to play at national league level in Hawaii. She won many awards and was one of the best Connecticut State players in that sport. She continued her education at Eastern Connecticut State University where she took on nutritional, anatomy, and exercise science courses along with playing varsity volleyball. After completing her Personal Training curriculum and becoming Certified Personal Trainer through the WITS program, Klaudia has taken on the challenge to work side by side with her experienced mother to help change people’s lives.
